Chulmleigh Old Fair
We went to Chulmleigh Old Fair today, there were lots of things to see and do, we bought some lovely cakes, I had a go on the table tennis challenge and Poppy won 5th place in the Best Veteran in the dog show (she is 7 now so an old lady really)
I took Poppy for a lovely walk this evening, we played tennis - Mum bowled a ball at me, I hit it with the tennis racket and Poppy fielded bringing the ball back every time, she is such a clever dog :)
I have been doing my Collector badge for Cubs, I have been collecting stamps and the last part was to visit a collection so today I went to South Molton Museum today, I did a quiz and won a sweet and learnt lots about the history of South Molton. I have lots of information and saw things a did like about how they displayed their items so I can make a poster when I get home to finish off my badge work.
I had another late Birthday present - when I was two I had one (it was Poppy) and now I have had another - this time it is Charlie. He is a 13.2hh Grey New Forest and I love him sooooo much already :) :) :) I look after him and ride him every day, there will be lots more pictures of Charlie to come.
I have been going to Cubs for over a year now however my pack was a bit boring and didn't do much so I have moved to a new pack. Tonight I was invested into my new pack and I am very proud. So far I have earned six badges and have been kayaking, canoeing, climbing and have a trip to Twin Lakes coming up soon so I am enjoying Cubs very much.
This week was sports day at school. We had a sort of decathlon where we moved around and did lots of small events. I was best at shooting baskets, sack race, running the relay and hockey slalom and I had great fun.
