10 in the Bed

Hooray, today was another certificate day when I went to Bounce and Rhyme. I chose one that had all the characters on it from the '10 in the Bed' book, which I like very much. When it came to instrument time I chose the bells and Mummy put them on my ankles for the marching ants song and marched around really well, shaking my bells as I went.

22nd April 2007 - Donkeys

We went to a donkey sanctuary and in my rush to get to the donkeys I fell over and scraped my knee, my nose and bumped my head. I cried but I was okay when I stroked the donkey, although I went all silly and kept running away every hime I stroked him then going back agin.

22nd April 2007 - Garlic

We went to the Garlic Farm. I saw lots of garlic and lots of things made with garlic, then I tried some garlic, orange and apricot ice cream and it was yummy. We have an elephant garlic plant that we are growing with our giant sunflowers. We have one sunflower each and are seeing whoose grows largest. Andrew's is winning at the moment but they are only very small.

Library

I went to the library this afternoon and took out two new books and a dvd. The books are Hairy Maclary & Postman Pat and the DVD is Spider. After that I chose some seeds and we went home and planted them. I am going to look every morning to see if they have grown.

Oxford :(

We went to Oxford today. The day started well and when we passed the university Mummy couldn't resist getting a photo of me by the sign, then we went for a lovely walk down the canal. We did several miles and when we were nearly back at the car I tripped over and hurt my arm. Mummy took me to the hospital in Oxford and I had a dislocated elbow so it had to be put back into place. I was given a pink teddy for being such a brave girl and it is all fine now.

Easter Monday

Another canal today, we went walking down the Ashby de la Zouch Canal. We sat down and I put on Mummys sunglasses.

Dudley Canal on Easter Sunday

We went over to Dudley Canal and Mummy cycled from Waterfront at Merry Hill to Warrenshall Park, then back again. I had a super ride on the back as I love the bike carrier. Mummy took a photo of me at Waterfront about to set off, then I saw lots of ducks, canadian geese and moorhens along the way.

Peterborough

During a lovely day out in Peterborough I visited the Kings Cliffe Airfield. Here I am at the memorial to those who lost their lives in the war.
